Spectacular piece of amber of 2.8 x 1.8 x 1.7 cm and 5.8 grams with a cockroach. This amber is unique because it is fluorescent and gives green color, it can be seen with black light.
* Amber from Chiapas has special characteristics; In its natural state, it appears as yellow, red or golden nodules, within strata of marine calcareous sandstones and layers of lignite in appropriate geological formations until the end of the Oligocene and early Miocene, with a length of 22.5 to 26 million years. It has been determined that its origin was palaeobotanist resin legume genus Hyme-NAEA, ancestor known locally as Guapinol.
