Japan twin quartz; the largest crystal measures ± 2 cm. The piece measures ± 3 x 2.5 cm in diameter and is mounted on a 4x4 cm methacrylate base.
The Japanese Twin Law is the only one in quartz where individual crystals are visible as individuals. Both crystals maintain an angle of 84 degrees for 33 minutes, with two of the prime faces of both crystals parallel.
